Remember when...

 Hey guys how are you all ? today we are happy to share this new little series that we want to start     here .. every tuesday we have tons of pictures and important things that happened before we started the blog or just things that we forgot to post for weeks or months so would like to have them here and remember those moments !! so for the first one we want to share a weekend that we went to the farm and enjoyed it so much. All the green and the sun , the trees and the good walks around the forest .. we are so thankful for this place and for being able to go there and spend some good time with family. so here are some pics of that weekend

Father's day

 

Yesterday we celebrated Father's day with the family. We had dinner at my aunt's house and share a nice night. At the end of the dinner Heidi told us that each of us had to say what whey enjoy about there Dad It was just so wonderful to hear what each said. We love all the dad's in our family. Our dad IS the best in the world and we are so thankful for him. He has taught us to love the Lord, he is humble, caring, loving, leader, full of grace... and obviously the best Dad ever!!!! We love you Dad.

Quiche part II

Hey there!

so on Sunday we prepare a sunday school class for the kids at the village, it was so great, all the kids were so happy and excited. I just love every single kid in there.

Thankful for this weekend in Quiche, thankful for the kids a got to hug, thankful for each mountain a got to see, for the perfect weather, for being able to see new places in my Guatemala, for the 12 hours in the car, for good music, for the new food a got to try, for good fellowship, for His love, for His protection during the travel, for His creation, for an incredible chauffeur who help us get to the huge mountains, thankful for the sweet community who welcomed us with so much love, thankful that I got to see/meet Rafael and his family...etc. THANK YOU JESUS for this wonderful weekend.

Quiche Part I

This past weekend my Dad and I and three other people from church went to Quiche.

Our church is helping a community there called Chuche, the community is in need of school classrooms, so us (the church) collected money to build 4 new classrooms. It was so wonderful to see the whole church giving and being generous, the Lord moved our hearts to bless others.
So on Friday we left the city and head up to the mountains and the countryside, we spend 6 hours in the car, the view was beautiful the mountains and the landscapes were so incredibly beautiful. We stayed in a hotel in Nevaj called "Utz la ja" that means "good home". Chuche is an hour by car from Nebaj. So on Friday we just walk around Nevaj and rest a bit and prepare ourselves for Saturday.
On Saturday we went to Chuche. They welcomed us with so much love and respect. it was so sweet. 
  We were there all day long getting to  know the place and the people.

 

It was so cool to see all the men building  the first Christian church in there community.

Later in the day we had the opportunity to meed for the first time Rafael (the kid we sponsor) and his family. We gave him gifts and got to know his family more. His family of 8 lives in a small room with three beds. I love this sweet boy so much! So thankful that we can sponsor him.
