trip to Santa cruz, Quiche II

We decided to go to the market to see some things and walk around Santa Cruz. After that we went to have lunch at a really delicious restaurant called Rejis.

Santa Cruz is a colorful and a beautiful small town. 

at 4:00 we got to the "Casa de mi Padre" orphanage and spend the rest of the day there, playing with the kids and with the "gringos". Anna accompanied the older kids to the Church for memorization club. 

they came right on time for dinner. We were all very tired but we enjoy the company of the kids!

after dinner we had a short worship time and then a devotional just us and the "gringos" were we all shared our highs and lows about the trip, it was very sweet to hear everything and being encourage by words and specially by what the Lord has been doing in our lifes and in our hearts. 

Quiche, it was wonderful to spend the weekend with your great people and seeing how beautiful you are!

trip to Santa Cruz, Quiche I

hello everyone! today we want to share with you all our trip to Quiche this past weekend.

we left Friday afternoon with 8 of our best friends.

the point of this trip was to lead the worship time in a all night looked in at a youth group in Santa Cruz, Quiche. we got there at 8:30pm ready to start the fun. we prepared everything that we needed for the music and we were all excited to worship the Lord with everyone.

A group of young college students came from the United States for a short mission trip, and they were in charge of everything. the program was to have worship, then some testimonies, a talk, games, games and more games.

the thing was not to sleep at all and that was very difficult because we were very tired and it was very cold. around 40 people came and it was a blessing.

at 5 am the sun started to come out and it was so so beautiful. in the morning we sang one more time, it was a gift to worship our God with everyone there. we had so much fun! we left the place at 8 and went to have breakfast at "Casa de mi padre".

our day ended at 9:30am when we got to the hotel and we were so ready to have some rest. it was such a wonderful experience and we are thankful for everything. 

God did amazing things that night.
