women's retret

hey everyone! so like six's weeks ago i was invited to go to a women's retreat, and i have to tell you it was so amazing! it was such a great opportunity to learn more about God and his word.
 i got to share with so many beautiful and lovely lady's and that was a true blessing.
this was my last weekend of vacation and i feel like this event was send form god at that right moment, i think you know how horribly were the first six's month of this year for me, mostly because of the aoument to the university and all that comes with it. it was so hard and at the end of my first semester i was all out, and i didn't wanted to know more about school. even thinking about starting my second semester made me cry and it was very stressful, so spending my last weekend with all of this lady's and spending time in the word of God was perfect. The lord opened my heart and teach me so much about his character and what changes i needed to do in my life, so that he coued be glorify. i'm thankful, so thankful!
He gave me peace, and He took that fears away. i was convicted, chalench and inspired by those women's through God!

it's been a busy week with lots and lots of homeworks and projects. i have been Reading and waking up very early in the mornings. it's been almost a month of being back at school after a wonderful month of vacation, and it feels okay being back.

I'm very excited for the weekend!!! :) we will tell you more about it soon!

Planetshakers concert!

on friday we went to see planetshakers in concert!

we waited so much for that day to happened, we wanted to go to a concert for so long and finally we had the opportunity! 

we went with our best friends so that made it even better.

God and his presence was there, being able to worship Jesus with an amazing group as planetshakers was such a blessing, God used them tremendously.

one of the things that impressed us about them was how they did it for Him, it wasn't about the show and how great they sing and how amazing musicians they are but it was all about Him and for Him.

they gave all the glory to God and that's way they where able to lead us in worship!

as I said, His presence was there, we could felt it in a way that we just don't understand.

 as a group of friends we are all involved in worship, we all serve in the worship team at the church so we we where inspired by all of it.

Thank you Jesus.

Donuts for breakfast!

last Saturday morning Andrea and I took a walk to get some donuts for breakfast, 

Mom and Dad were out of town and Enid had to go to collage so it was just us

we decided to take a walk around and take the camara with us.

we usually never walk in this area because we are always in the car, so it was nice to see it in a different perspective, sometimes you don't have to go far to find something fun to do. 

so yeah we walked, bought some donuts, and eat them on our way back. 

that was our little Saturday adventure!

P.S one of the things that Guatemala city has taught me is that you can go walking everywhere and to not be afraid of it!

In search. Guate // 002

hello everyone! today i want to here this beautiful place called Orquideas S & M
Orchids SyM born as a concern to a small orchid plant.
Throughout more than 25 years they have had a passion for flowers and plants and concerns about constantly discovering new hybrids.
Until today they have more than 40 international awards from the American Orchid Society of the United States for cultivation and quality of their plants. Every year they participate in events and national and international exhibitions.
We found it a few months ago and we wanted to go back to take pictures and to show it to our sweet friend Zoilita, who loves orchids so much too.
we think this such an inspiring place in the middle of Guatemala City.
as you can see from the pictures the place is magnificent.
