Remember when / an opportunity to serve

this was October first of 2011
A missionary here in Guatemala that we know, invited us to help her visit a village and do an activity for the school children, the day before we made candy bags for the kids at the school and early in the morning we left for the village. We had a great time. We always love to serve the people in need  from our county, and we are very thankful for the opportunities that the Lord has given us to do that.
A lot of kids and teachers where able to know Jesus and accept Him as their only savior, such a big blessing! We also enjoy our time with Gabriella and Matthew, two beautiful kids that love
to serve next to there mother.
walking to the village, the road was very bad and the car could not pass, so we left the car and walked
Matthew and Gabriella ready for the show
the kids where very anxious to see what was going to happened
so happy for their candy bags
eating some ice cream, they loved it!
Hope you are having a wonderful Tuesday!

No soda

No soda.
I haven't dink soda since January 10th, it's been almost eight months now.
That was one of my resolutions from this year and
 I still can't believe I'm making it.
It's been hard but at the same time it's been very good not just for my health but to
practice my self control.
and I have to tell you I feel very happy about it.

Remember when...this place

We are pretty happy, grateful and thankful for your garden. We seriously love it. We have lived here since we were born, growing up in our lovely little home, with our cousins as our neighbors and having this big big garden it's just such a blessing. It's truly a gift.
I remember playing and playing here,
pretending we where mamas with our dolls, pretending we where princesses,
riding our bikes, lying on a big blanket until nightfall , picking up fireflies, climbing trees,
picnics, running in the rain, playing and getting wet with the water hose, birthday parties,
lying in a hammock watching the branches, leaves and the moon above me, having devotionals,
having big lunch's with the family...
we can seriously go on and on saying so many things we've done and enjoyed about this place.

p.s. those pictures where taken last year.

Friends!

friends are the ones who:
who you can be yourself around them
who you can laugh about every simple thing
who you have memories since Little
that you can tel any joke no matter how lazy it is
who you can bet on silly things
who are like family!

who you can put the timer cam and take selfies with!
thankful for good friends
for those good times,
for being like siblings to us
we love you all
